Couples Therapy

Supportive couples counseling focused on improving communication, strengthening connection, and navigating relationship challenges together.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is an intervention that involves bilateral stimulation while you process traumatic memories. EMDR is helpful for healing past trauma and other distressing life experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Yes! I currently accept Aetna, UHC, Oxford, Carefirst BCBS, and Oscar. Services are also offered self-pay at a rate of $125 per session. If requested, clients can be provided with invoice to submit to insurance (if not listed) which may qualify you for reimbursement depending upon your insurance plan.

Do you offer in-person appointments?

Currently, all appointments are offered virtually only. Virtual appointments are open to anyone in the State of Maryland.

What is your therapeutic approach?

My approach is compassionate, directive, and action-oriented, with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as the primary framework. ACT emphasizes mindfulness, values-based living, and building psychological flexibility to support meaningful change. While ACT guides much of the work, I also draw on CBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and other modalities as needed to best serve each client.

How much will it cost if I use insurance?
